What Is The Durgin Center Spotlight?
The Eastern Area Agency on Aging’s Durgin Center has become an important resource for our community members. In 2022, over 1,000 residents utilized our many programs, classes, and services. The initiatives range from wellness and enrichment activities, social opportunities, community cafés, and education and training.
These essential programs allow adults to thrive in their communities; however, to ensure they remain affordable, they require financial assistance. That is why we want to provide an opportunity for community-conscious businesses to be featured as part of our Durgin Center Spotlight program.
For a $1000-dollar donation, our spotlight partner becomes our sponsor for the month. Sponsorship includes promotion of your business via logo placements in our event calendar, newsletters and our internal signage, as well as, two social media posts on our Facebook page, and an opportunity to come present to our consumers. You’ll be given a featured spot on our monthly event calendar with your donation. This is our go-to publication for our consumers, which lists classes, gatherings, and monthly events. This calendar is distributed in print and digital versions, including in our monthly newsletter, posted on our website, and shared on our Facebook page.
Your organization will also be featured in our Eastern Area Agency on Aging newsletter and our Durgin Center newsletter. Our newsletters are emailed out to a readership of over 3,000 recipients. 
Who doesn’t use Facebook these days? As part of our sponsorship program, we’ll use our social network of over 3,400 users, extending your message to the audience you want to reach. We’ll schedule two posts for the month, promoting your brand, your services, and your organization.
One of the best parts of our sponsorship package is an opportunity to come and present at the Durgin Center. We have incredibly passionate and engaged community members who participate in our services. During your sponsorship month, you can schedule a time to come in and invite our consumers to meet you and your organization and learn about the services you offer. This is an incredible opportunity to share information and grow your audience.
