Eastern Area Agency on Aging is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Program Coordinator to join our team and lead our Home Delivered Meals & Community Café programs in Hancock County. This full-time position (32 hours/week) is benefits eligible and offers a fulfilling opportunity to serve older adults throughout the region.
As the Program Coordinator, you will:
- Help determine program eligibility and connect clients to essential services.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and conduct client assessments.
- Coordinate meal deliveries and design efficient delivery routes.
- Supervise and inspire volunteers who share your commitment to community service.
- Work in a hybrid environment: enjoy time in the Ellsworth office, work-from-home flexibility, and frequent travel throughout Hancock County.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves bending, stooping, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
What We’re Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Knowledge of programs and services for older adults is a plus.
- Previous experience working with or supervising volunteers is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance are essential.
