Eastern Area Agency on Aging is currently recruiting for a full-time (40 hours/week), benefits eligible, Program Coordinator for our Home Delivered Meals & Community Café programs in Piscataquis County. This position provides & promotes program service throughout the coverage area. Job duties include determining program eligibility, maintaining electronic records, referring clients, coordinating meal delivery, establishing delivery routes, supervising and coordinating volunteers, and conducting assessments. This position is a remote home-based position with frequent travel through Piscataquis county, including Milo, Dover, and Guilford.
The Program Coordinator is required to stoop and/or bend and frequently lift up to 20lbs.
High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge of services and programs available for older adults preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance. Experience working with and/or supervising volunteers is preferred.
The successful candidate will be professional, show initiative, and driven to help improve the lives of older adults throughout Eastern Maine.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized part-time Executive Administrative Assistant to support our Executive Director and leadership team. This role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage projects, and a professional, friendly demeanor. As the Executive Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating meetings, maintaining records, managing communications, and handling administrative tasks that help our leadership team run smoothly.
This hybrid position offers flexibility with some remote workdays and in-office days at our Brewer Administrative Offices. The role requires a commitment of 15-18 hours per week, Monday-Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support by drafting emails, memos, and other communications on behalf of the Executive Director.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and taking minutes.
- Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, prioritize tasks, and make appointments.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records, including board and committee documentation.
- Assist with event planning for internal and external events, such as the Healthy Aging Expo and Fall fundraising events.
- Greet meeting guests and ensure a professional and welcoming office environment.
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and manage databases as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of prior administrative or office experience.
- Proficiency with G-Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Associate degree in Business or Business Management (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for job-related activities.
