Event Series Event Series: Durgin Center Spotlight

Join AARP Maine for free pastries on Friday, May 31 at 1 p.m. and learn about some big events coming to Bangor in June.

Volunteer State President André Chassé and Associate State Director for Advocacy and Outreach Alf Anderson will discuss what AARP Maine does throughout the year on behalf of the 50-plus in Maine. They’ll also provide a preview of upcoming free programs in greater Bangor, including a shredding event, “Dark Secrets: The Terrible Truth About Elder Abuse in the Family”, an LGBTQ+ film screening and discussion, and a Movies for Grownups screening of a poignant action-comedy. They’ll also discuss our monthly free coffee socials and future On Taps, and their June 22 presence at Bangor Pride.

Can’t make the presentation? Visit https://states.aarp.org/maine/bangorjune to learn more about AARP Maine’s free June offerings. We ask that you sign up in advance by calling the Durgin Center (207) 941-2865 so we know how many people to expect.
