The Green Acres Kennel Appeal

Eastern Area Agency on Aging is once again teaming up with Green Acres Kennel Shop for the 19th year to support the Green Acres Appeal for Hungry Pets.

This long-standing partnership helps raise critical funds for the Furry Friends Food Bank, a program that supports older adults in Penobscot, Piscataquis, Hancock, and Washington Counties by providing monthly pet food kits that help offset rising pet food and supply costs. Thanks to generous community donations, FFFB distributes over 12,000 pounds of pet food each month, supporting more than 390 individuals and their beloved companions.

Green Acres Kennel Shop has been a valued supporter of the program for nearly two decades, standing with us to ensure older Mainers never have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pets.
