Nelson Durgin Biography

Durgin Center is named after Nelson Durgin. Nelson was a visionary leader in our community. He had a passion for serving the citizens in our region and his commitment and dedication were inspirational.

Nelson was a leader in many civic organizations and proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Eastern Area Agency on Aging from 2006 to 2020 having been Board President from 2014  - 2016.

His legacy will continue on through the Durgin Center and the many lives that will be enhanced through its existence.
